💛 Why I Do What I Do: Two Powerful Reviews That Brought Me Back to My “Why”

This week, something lovely happened that really made me pause.
I received two back-to-back reviews from clients living with chronic pain – both describing the relief they felt after their massage treatments with me. They spoke about reduced pain, feeling more mobile, and finally getting a decent night’s sleep. But more than that, they shared how much they felt cared for and listened to.
Those few kind words meant so much.
Because when I left my corporate HR career and launched Ruby Rose Skin & Wellbeing here in Raunds, North Northamptonshire, I wasn’t just starting a business. I was stepping into a new life – one where the aim was simple:👉 To finish each day knowing I’d genuinely helped someone.
Not just in a professional sense. But helped someone feel better. Physically, emotionally, and mentally.
Massage therapy isn’t just about easing knots or working out tension (although it does that beautifully!) – it’s about holding space for people. Especially those who are dealing with something long-term, like chronic pain, and who may feel a bit forgotten in the day-to-day rush of life.
These two reviews reminded me why I love what I do. They reminded me that even the smallest improvements can make a huge difference when someone is living with discomfort every day.
So, if you’re navigating life with pain – whether it’s from injury, illness, posture, stress, or just the demands of daily life – please know you don’t have to suffer in silence. I’m here to help.
